The Dolls Factory for Omega
Omega Boutique in Milan
Growing up in a family of watchmakers, I’ve found myself often playing with escape wheels and barrels, plus a thousand other pieces that make the puzzle that is a watch. But never had I done a real job in putting together a movement before last year when visiting the Omega headquarters in Switzerland and putting on the white laboratory coat. ( See here: Watchmaking with Omega). In the past year I’ve had the great opportunity to follow the company through presentations in Vienna and Shanghai, visit the Omega Museum in Bienne and also style few of their main collections for Fashion Week ( Omega Constellation, Omega Dark Side of The Moon, Omega Ladymatic, Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra ).
So when I was asked to be a style ambassador for their new initiative #OMEGAinmovement, I couldn’t be more happy. My journey in the world of the luxury watches will continue in the following months, with me sharing more and more style stories on this blog. Because time is important as we make time, we waste time, we give time, we race against time and live our lives marked by the ticking of the watches on our wrists.
My Omega In Movement starts from the brand’s Milan boutique in Montenapoleone while having a look at the latest collections and picking up the watch that will accompany me during this journey.
