Mandarin Oriental Como
One of the advantages of living in Milan, or in a tourists case visiting Milan, is the fact that you can reach so many beautiful places just within 1-hour drive. Como is one of the most famous lake towns, and it can be reached within just 30 minutes. Weekends by the lake are one of my favorite times and especially this weekend spent at Mandarin Oriental Como was a dream. The location is very secluded so you can have a holiday away from the tourist track. Everything is available within the resort including a famous restaurant opened also to the outside guests. I spent most of my time at the spa and on the unique swimming pool floating on the lake. It was a typical relaxing holiday where you connect with nature and the only tourist activity I did was visiting the newarby town of Bellagio.
