Last days of rain and black
As soon as the winter holidays end, which for Italy is around January 8, I start looking forward to Spring. I try also to convince others that spring is around the corner even though that corner is 3 months away. But this is how life works, not living in the present of cold rainy days but looking forward to a future when the sun will shine.
I’ve written before that this Winter 2017 has been me rediscovering black and loving it. For sure the fact that black velvet has been in-trend it has helped me wear this color because shiny black is never dull. Styling velvet pieces from our wardrobe is easy if we follow the rule that only one part of the outfit can be shiny velvet while the rest should be opaque. Add in there a sexy lace bralette and we can make every black outfit more feminine.
